Born and raised in the great Midwest, Crista grew up with ambitions of creativity and compassion. Raised by an art-obsessed father claiming a career as a music teacher, and a crafty mother who tried her hand in the banking world, a path in design was obvious. After entertaining a degree in art therapy for a year, she quickly realized that her gifts would be better utilized in the fashion industry. Fearful that a degree in fashion design would lead to selfish ambition, Crista chose OMore College of Design in Franklin, TN where small classes with an emphasis in the importance of design fundamentals established a firm foundation. Curious about the world around her, the wellbeing of humanity, and all things crafty, she patiently (and excitedly!) awaits opportunities that will allow her detail oriented, hard-working nature to manifest itself.
