Inspired by the natural world and my personal heritage, I create textiles that express my fascination with colour and texture. I am skilled in crochet, knit and embroidery, combining hand and machine techniques to create free-form embellishments and surfaces. With experiences ranging from artisan collaborations to craft documentation to filming online tutorials, I am versatile with my design process and methods of research. I value craftsmanship and artisanal techniques and strive to use the same in contemporary ways.
