I am experienced in all areas of design; trend prediction, color theory, R & D, fit and line presentation, with an emphasis on knitwear and denim. I have worked in markets including; women’s contemporary, layette and missy, with the bulk of my experience being in girls and juniors.

I am highly computer literate in all industry software, and expert at every aspect of CAD from technical
sketching to knit jacquard design. I have extensive experience designing apparel embellishments,
including; hand and machine embroidery, screen prints, appliqués, allover prints & hardware.

Additionally, I have experience in all aspects of marketing within the Apparel Industry, including web design, social networking management, corporate identity design (hang tags and labels, tradeshow booth design) and catalog production (from photographic art direction to layout and production).

Other Proficiencies include hand fashion Illustration, paper and fabric crafts, display and presentation
(merchandising) and art direction. I have also previously trained and supervised other CAD artists and design assistants.
I’m adept at working with a team, and am experienced at working with overseas manufacturing.
