My design style is derived from luxury,music and movies. I like creating clothes that make you feel like one of a kind or a instant celebrity. I love dark colors over pastels and always will usually add a touch of something that sparkles.I like combining hard & soft elements like metals and stones with lace or chiffon. I design mostly ready-to wear for women\'s day and evening.
Over the last couple of years Ive had great joy in planning and facilitating summer camps for aspiring Fashion Designers. Ive created Fashion Workshops calendars, schedules and maintained the Fashion Workshops website. Please visit www.fashionworkshops.com
Prior to this opportunity, I worked as a Fashion Instructor at Raffles Design Institute in Shanghai China. This exciting adventure gave me the opportunity to create and facilitate lesson plans in the subject of fashion design for college students.
In 2004, I pursued an opportunity to work with a junior collection called Apple Bottoms clothing. I was hired directly out of college and became the point of contact between the design and production teams. I ensured all technical aspects were met with fabrics, trims, and graphics. I absolutely loved working with the factories and ensuring samples were accurate.
I am looking currently looking for opportunities in teaching,designing,planning,pre production or marketing.
