A recent graduate from Washington State University, I received a Bachelors of Art in Apparel Merchandising, Design and Textiles, with an emphasis in Apparel Design.
At WSU, I mastered the techniques I needed to create my visions, my art, and attain that success that the world will see from me. I challenged myself beyond normal limits to learn every aspect that I could, because what I want most is to become an expert in the apparel industry. My goal is to go beyond the superficial skills that the public may think the fashion industry is celebrated for. Years before Project Runway, Design Star and StyleTV, I was imagining the attainment of my future success. The principles of my existence, and the song my heart and soul sings, does not exist without the art of fashion. The art of fashion, my ideal of fashion, is beyond the prevailing socialization and custom of dress. It is a soulful rendition of a lost time, an emotional life experience, an imagined world, or an abstract vision. The skills Ive mastered, and the ideas I have yet to transpose into that tangible success, are gurgling within me and Im ready to burst.
