Currently, I work as a manager for a designer fabric company, assisting with fabric consulting for all levels of designers, as well as overall sales. A big part of my position also includes managing our studio accounts for television and film, completing purchase orders and establishing clientele. In addition, I do custom clothing for clients on the side. My background includes over ten years in fashion retail sales, including management. I have obtained a Bachelor\'s of Fine Arts in Fashion Design, and an education in Marketing Management. I have previously been behind the scenes of L.A. Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, dressing for multiple shows.
My other abilities and skills include fashion sketching/illustrating, garment construction, an extensive knowledge of textiles and their application. At this point, I have now done two collections, the most recent shown June 4, 2010. I am seeking a full-time position as a design assistant or technical designer, where I can utilize my skills, continuing to learn and grow in this industry.
