Conduct fit sessions with models for each projects assigned by clients, fit alterations and pattern adjustments. Make patterns from swim wear to pajama to casual wear. Illustration jobs include color combo layout for a complete collections, technical sketches and technical packages. Work closely with design room personnel, seamstress, cutter and quality assurance for samples QA and production QA. Love this opportunity to be part of Dallas fashion community.

Created technical packages that include technical drawing on Adobe Illustration CS5 was my priority job in this kind company. All the components of good Technical packages such as BOM, technical construction pages, size specification draft, labels, hang tag and master carton and Vendor manual requirements must be accurately inputted into the tech pack for price quote and production. Approval of Proto samples, fit samples, pre production samples, production samples were also my major responsibility. I was also involved on product development follow up, fabric sourcing, sample yardage followed up and product development costing/FOB;LDP;wholesale spreadsheet preparation. It was a great opportunity to work in this company.
I created a lot of product lines for Bass Pro and Wal-Mart, while I was working in this company.

At this company, I was a Designer and also Technical Designer and Product Development. It’s a small company, so basically all the Product Development job and responsibilities were given to one person. Fabric sourcing, design sourcing and product development follow up were basically daily work that I had to do. I had learned a lot of multitasking in this company, although I worked only for short period of time.

Managed supply chain management. Follow up production programs between buyer and factory. Price quoted to buyer and factory, mark up and projection calculation. Product delivery assurance and supreme quality and workmanship required by the buyer. Senior Merchandiser job in this company were to include, P.O. set up and preparation for production. Input data into fashion chain system, lab dip approval by Gerber color machine, samples approval, communicate with manufacturer daily, lab test review and approval, shipment approval.
Our major account at that moment was Kids R Us and Baby R Us and Chico’s for women’s wear.

Created idea /design for the local apparel products and managed Women’s Apparel export business to our main client in U.S.A. Main job and responsibilities were to communicate with buyers directly to follow up order, samples follow up and realization of designer sketches into proto sample garments for client’s apparel trade shows. Managed production line from sewing, cutting, packing and finish products to be delivered on time and meet buyer target delivery date. I learned mass production procedure and process through this kind company. This company had huge number of seamstress, marker and cuter personnel, packing and shipping in one huge building. It was a great experience to work with this reputable manufacturer at that moment in Bali.
