I have experience working as a design assistant for a bridal designer and wholesaler. During this time I did draping, beading, embroidery, and also helped on the business side. To be the best designer, I want to master my craft beyond just design. I have not limited myself to just fashion design but have taken seminars on tutu-making, embroidery, quilting, etc. I also spent 1 year in Thailand where spent most of my time learning different art forms such as batik dyeing, cross stitch, and learning about Thai costumes. I also spent a year in foreign exchange at the University of Central Lancashire in the UK. I spent the year learning about fashion design, drawing, CAD, and machine knitting. My experience on a design team and my experience with different processes make me a unique candidate.
