More Information

Walter's current collection is titled ‘Backcountry’ and represents the off beaten path of the Southern Region of the United States and the idea of the Southern Outlaw. Throughout this collection Walter utilizes his own method ‘Reconstruction’ in order to play with the placement of items such as hoods, collars, and lapels in order to give a new look to fabrics considered blue collar. Walter hopes to utilize fashion in order to create a modern day ‘Southern Reconstruction. Quoting WNBA basketball player Candice Parker Walter States that “Today I know that there is still work to be done but along the way I am achieving my dreams.”
