I create textile & surface patterns using both computer aided design as well as hand drawn or painted patterns. I have a strong sense of design & color as well as a thorough understanding of current market trends & directions as it pertains to the fashion & textile industry.

I have worked on design as well as production in the apparel industry for the past several years learning the design & development process full circle & inside & out (trend research, competitor analysis, consumer buying trends, designing, communicating with factories overseas, approving strike offs/lab dips etc..). I am fully aware of the design/development process, have a thorough knowledge of repeats, & have the ability to create a balanced print collection along with production ready files for smooth hand off. I\'m highly creative & detail oriented- designing with the end use & consumer in mind & have a thorough process for the research & development for any given print collection. I have excellent time management skills, work well under pressure & deliver on time for all deadlines. My degree is in studio art with continuing education classes taken in graphic design from Parsons the New School for Design.
