Having had been afforded the great opportunity to move upwards in a smaller (at times mostly
myself and another) design team. I was granted the opportunity to get as far as my initiative allowed.
As the lead designer for the Velour woman collections, I soon discovered that I had the ability to meet short deadlines, while working simultaneously independently and within my own team. My work at Velour was focused on design, production and textile development.
Very soon these obligations were woven with other responsibilities such as managing photo
shoots, overlooking the designs of new co-workers, while maintaining my personal interest of maintain the spirit of High Art within the great narrative that fashion provides man.
The past time I have not been allowed to legally work in the states, but just got a permanent
working visa. I have used this opportunity of time to hone the signature within my own illustration style . When I draw, it is within my own heart Art; however I expressly work within the scope of a fashion designer so that each art piece could be brought to life through a design team, and hopefully inspire something other and new.
