I have over 11 years of design and product development experience. Over the past 8 years I’ve gained invaluable experience working in the apparel industry. My latest employer Shade Clothing allowed me to perfect every aspect of the design and manufacturing experience. I am now able to take an initial sketch, and see it through the entire production process. My responsibilities have included trend research, flat-sketching, pattern-drafting, sample-sewing, and fabric and trim sourcing. I work closely with a cost analysis team to successfully obtain competitive pricing. I have also had the opportunity to oversee large-scale production of my finished products, thus taking me overseas to experience first-hand garment manufacturing and quality control.
My garment knowledge ranges from casual cut-and-sew knits, to high-end gowns fit for the red carpet.

I have had the opportunity to work in textile design. I have over 12 years of experience working with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

I also have extensive freelance experience, not only as a pattern-maker, but also as a consultant to start-up apparel companies.
