My goal is to grow my design talents while bringing a mature attitude with attention to detail. I would love to design at a brand that has global impact.

More Information

I have been able to experience manufacturing on a small scale as a design assistant correcting patterns, using blocks to create new patterns, draping, interpreting designs and creating flats, and sewing samples.

I construct with a great ability to work on industrial machines. As a freelancer, I work with a variety of clients creating apparel from concept through completion which range from stilt-walking pants to suits to spandex body suits for both men and women. In addition to the hard skills, I have a high level of tech skills such as those required by Illustrator, Photoshop, and most CAD programs including AutoCad and OptiTex, a 3D rendering package with runway capability, which I am currently learning.

I spent 10 years as a database programmer with web front ends which came in handy for learning any digital imaging system. From either a soft or hard skill standpoint, I know how to make things work as well as communicate to get the job done. As someone who is multi-lingual in Spanish, French and English, I know how key it is to communicate effectively and efficiently.
