MY JOB PROFILE
Developing the Concepts by a balance mix of clients trends, general forecast and our research inputs.
Sourcing the garments, fabrics and trims as per the buyer and style requirement.
Selecting the right fabrics and trims.
Coordinating with vendors in developing the samples as per the sketches/designs.
Updating the reports to the senior management( Reporting to Design Head and Marketing Manager)
Working on a pattern of 4 seasons/year
Coordinating with merchants in R & D samples selected by the Clients.
To construct and manipulate illustration patterns and templates with specification sheets
To construct and drape garments according to fits
To identify a fabric, its specification properties and develop its design samples
Proposing various design range of woven and knit garment.
Work with tight deadlines
Ensure all styles and standards are adhered to, while creating a variety of new and unique Designs
Demonstrate innovation in developing design
Take ownership and responsibility to maintain and periodic backup of own files
Dealing with buying house and merchandising department till the proto sample to shipment sample.
Handling buyer sampling and co-ordination with merchandising department.
Ensure adequate security measure are taken to protect proprietary and confidential information
