Technical Designer:

• Spec all incoming styles across multiple product categories
(junior/missy knits & wovens, men’s knits & wovens, plus size
knits & wovens, kids’ knits & wovens) throughout entire garment
lifecycle, from 1st fit thru TOP stage
•Manage/Lead fit sessions and take ownership of fit development
for every assigned style – fit sessions conducted either on live
fit model or on a variety of dressforms – take photos of each
style from multiple angles, ensuring all callouts receive
photographic documentation.
• Suggest all required fit corrections, while collaborating with
the designer and the fit model to ensure all corrections maintain
the integrity of the desired silhouette and a good comfort level
• Utilize the fit session photos and Illustrator to communicate
the required corrections to factories (both domestic and
overseas), uploading all material into PLM for centralization
purposes.
• Using knowledge of grading, apply grade rules to each style
across the garment size run (eg. XXS – XXL)
