Conceptualize, design and develop a 50 million dollar cut and sew knit line for a 300+ store specialty retailer. Strategically lead a staff of two assistants and a creative technical designer. Frequent travel to regional WHBM stores as well as competitor and inspirational brands. Partner daily with cross-functional teams for merchandising, fabric development, production, cad design, technical fittings and visual merchandising. Maintain team productivity and commitment to quality by encouraging and facilitating process improvements and implementing applicable solutions. Report directly to SVP of Design.
Entered the company as a Freelance Designer and was quickly offered a full time position as a Senior Designer.
Implemented and maintain systems in order to integrate the knit department into the brand.
Selected and mentored team members to ensure high performance and efficiency.
Initiate and lead seasonal meetings with a team of five Senior Designers to establish key conceptual stories. Build total collection looks incorporating all apparel and accessory categories while maintaining brand integrity.

Designed and developed an extensive cut and sew line for a national department store, private label brand. Lead and managed a team of two assistants, a technical designer and a colorist. Oversaw approvals and direction given on color and prints. Lead daily technical fittings. Worked daily with product managers to ensure production timelines were being met. Reported directly to the DVP of Design.
Promoted twice based on merit from assistant to associate to designer.
Selected to collaborate with the marketing team to provide style direction and maintain brand integrity at photo shoots for catalogs and mailers as well as national ads.
