SUMMARY OF SKILLS
Design
Developing a garment from inspiration page, to rough sketch, to
illustrations and through to construction.
Experience designing and constructing misses apparel through
the use of flat pattern and draping techniques.
Knowledge of textiles and their appropriate uses.
Technology
Experience using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to
illustrate designs.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher,
Adobe Creative Suite, and image scanning software.
Some experience in digital patternmaking with Lectra/Modaris.
Visual communications
Presenting work through illustrations and presentation boards.
Rendering garments in a variety of media including pen,
watercolor, colored pencil, and marker.
Gathering market information and trends and organize this
information into trend boards and fashion forecasts.
International Experience
Fluency in speaking and writing French.
Experience travelling independently in France, England, Wales,
and Holland.
