I spent almost the last year and a half working at a bakery because I was in a job market that offered nothing in the way of fashion design. While I was grateful to be working, it served as a strong reminder of how much I love designing. It is this passion that has driven me to relocate to a city with greater opportunity. I got my start in the industry as an intern for small companies, which let me try my hand at many new skills. Later, as an assistant designer for a mass market company, I refined my skills and speed. I am eager to find a company that will afford me the opportunity to reenter the industry and hopefully, one that I will also be able to call home for years to come.
