I am a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, GA where I received my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Fashion Design and Chelsea College of Art and Design, London, England where I completed my Masters Degree in Textile Design.
Since in school I have done a wide range of internships including: Tropical Sportswear International/ Perry Ellis, Tampa, FL where I worked with product managers and technical designers assisting in technical drawings, specs, costing and development of client meetings. Upon completing my Bachelors degree, I interned and worked for Tia Cibani designer of kicokids and Ports 1961. During this time I held roles that included wholesale, retail and online sale responsibilities as well as PR and assisting in photo-shoots. Upon opening up the kicokids pop up store, I was elected Assistant Manager where I assisted in the grand opening, sales and inventory. More recently I have assisted in wholesale with buyers in the London area including Selfridges and Harvey Nichols children’s departments. While in London, I also interned for Junior Magazine’s fashion department attending press events and assisting in styling and photo-shoots.
I have been told that I am an extremely hard worker who has excellent people skills and believe this to be true of myself as well. I have a continued relationship with customers from positions prier and have received compliments on behalf of my commitment to the customers needs. I have worked in small and large environments along with celebrity clientele and find that I work at all times in a professional manner while assisting in providing a fun-working environment. I am a leader who works to satisfy the needs of others while working towards achieving goals as both a team and individually. Also, due to my diverse background I believe myself to have a strong understanding of the fashion industry, its customers and the global market.
