I have been sewing since I was in elementary school, which made a career in the apparel industry the perfect choice for me. Since starting college at Cal Poly Pomona, fashion has gone from being only a hobby of mine to my confirmed profession of preference. I have gained skills and knowledge in pattern making, textile science, tech packs, technical design, business strategies, production development, Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel. Outside of my required course work, my biggest accomplishment has been designing and creating collections of my own for my department's annual fashion show.

After being exposed to the truths of the harm humans have on the planet while in high school, I have taken it upon myself to be more mindful of how I personally treat the world I live in. I have done research on sustainability methods and their usage for both the apparel industry as well as my everyday life. It is a goal of mine to start a sustainable apparel company to provide more options for people with similar values to mine.
