Worked in house full time assisting the Design team with all phases of the technical packages. Made changes to CADS when advised and followed through with changing the information in the technical packages.

LIZ CLAIBORNE, New York, NY 2007 – 2008
Denim and Outerwear Designer, Enyce Ladies Youthwear
Designed all woven categories while maintaining brand identity. Researched market for design, fit, finishes, fabrics and embellishments. Approved lab dips, washes, finishes and product development. Attended fit meetings for sampling through to production. Supervised team when Design Director was absent.
• Achieved 85% of denim buy by presenting seasonal trends to Merchandiser.
• Achieved innovative finishes by controlling lab dips, washes, finishes and product development.

GLOBAL CLOTHING NETWORK, New York, NY 2006 – 2007
Senior Wovens & Knits Designer, Private label Ladies and Mens Youthwear
Interacted with store buyers and merchandisers developing product based on stores’ own corporate initiatives and brand identities. Customers included Forever 21, Wal-Mart, Maurices and Harley Davidson. Communicated extensively with overseas factories to execute sampling.
• Enabled company to meet targeted deadline by traveling to Hong Kong to purchase fabric for direct hand off of sample.

SAND-N-STEEL, New York, NY 2005 – 2006
Design Director, Surf Diva Ladies Youthwear Licensed Product
Launched newly branded clothing line targeting all categories of surf wear lifestyle brand identity. Created product to build sales while simultaneously satisfying vision for licensor.
• Took on additional licensed brand, Yogaforce, while maintaining current workload.

KIDS HQ, New York, NY 2003 - 2005

Initiated design, technical packages and trend shopped for all categories. Corresponded with overseas on production approvals, fabrics and strike-offs.
• Worked closely with corporate on brand vision.

Established innovative design, fabrics, trim and seasonal direction.
• Enabled increase of sales from $3MM to $20MM in one year by researching Youth customer profile.
