Responsible for the creative direction and product development of 400+ skus resulting in over 50 million dollars in sales
Travel frequently to China and Hong Kong for direct design, product approval as well as sourcing.

Designed both proprietary and licensed Halloween costumes for Disguise Inc and Season’s.
Licenses include: Disney, Mattel, Marvel, Hasbro, Clive Barker, and Nickelodeon amongst many others.
Provided illustrations, detailed flat sketches, PMS color and fabric call outs.

Was brought in house to work with and guide more junior designers.
Redesigned the whole Disney Princess line whose sell through is so great that they are still being sold to this day.

Started my relationship with Disguise Inc as a Freelance Designer. My first project was to redesign Disney Tinker Bell. These designs are still being sold to this day.
Continued to work for Pony Express as a consultant. Worked on photoshoots as well as designing their Tiki Party Decor Program.

Managed a staff of twenty including Costume Designers/Product Developers, Graphic Artists, Pattern makers, Sample Sewers and the Overseas Product Coordinator.
Created design briefs for the many creative consumer products we designed and produced.
Reviewed designs with the Designers both creatively and to ensure that price points were being met.
Art directed photo shoots and selected models, make-up artists, stylists and photographers.
Actively sought out new products that the company could produce.
Worked closely with our Hong Kong office to source new product and to ensure that our production met our quality control requirements.
Created policies and procedures for my department.
Managed a large budget.
Played a crucial role in increasing sales by 65%.
Worked closely with the Vice Presidents and the CEO to create plans for the company and played an integral part in directing the future of the multi-million dollar seasonal business.
Customers include: Disney, Wal-Mart, Target, Party City, Spencer Gifts, Hot Topic, Walgreen’s, Nordstrom’s, K-Mart and three thousand independent stores.

Designed four collections a year under the KONANGE (Women’s) label and four for XTREME (Junior’s).
Oversaw and was responsible for every aspect of design from concept to fabrics, color ways, accessories,fittings, working with dye houses, laundries, pattern makers and stitchers to complete a quality product ready for production.
Directed the marketing of the label and wrote press releases and created style booklets for fashion editors of magazines. The collections regularly appeared in editorials for Girlfriend, Women’s Day, Women’s Weekly, New Woman, Dolly, Cosmopolitan and Cleo.
Created proposals and storyboards for major department store buyers. Attended meetings with the buyers to discuss the direction of the following season.
Designed Private Label for major stores and labels such as Big W, David Jones Girl wear, Boyswear and Toddlers, Chain Reaction, Rockmans, Wombat, Colorado Men and Women, Simona Sportswear, Carla Zampatti Jeans and Birthdaze Maternity Jeans.

Set up studio in Sydney’s fashion district. Designed and produced exclusive evening and wedding gowns for private clients.
