I am a current graduate who recieved a BA in Fashion Management with a concentration in Fashion Design. I have a great passion for formal and bridal gowns.I have developed solid leadership and communication skills, as well as learned how to interact with an extensive variety of other people due to my variety of work and school experiences. This has taught me a lot about people and has prepared me for many of the trials and tribulations of the real world. I
am so appreciative to have learned so much about the fashion industry itself during my internships, including how both the business and design side of the company operate while making lifetime connections. As a result, I now value efficiency, accuracy, and understand job responsibility.This past April at my school, The University of the Incarnate Word, the top seniors of the program
launched their very own collections. My collection, The Wedding Party, consisted of five bridesmaid dresses and three wedding gowns. I produced the whole collection from the sketch, to the patterns, fabric sourcing, fittings, and the final product. I am honored to say that my collection won 1st place in design and 1st place in construction, as well as best of show. I also entered my first bridal gown into a competition in Texas called Dallas Career Day and placed second with my first bridal gown. I know how much hard work goes into bridal and evening gowns, and that is why I love them so much. I am very dedicated and I know what it takes to get the job done. I strive for perfection; pay close attention to detail and my constant goal of superior quality makes my work exceptional among others.
