More Information

I am recent graduate from Cal Poly, Pomona, I am pursuing a product development opportunity in the apparel industry. My major was Apparel Merchandising and Management with an emphasis in Apparel Production. The Cal Poly curriculum focuses on the process of developing merchandise from identifying target markets through to apparel produced ready for retail sales. Key areas covered in my education include: market research; fabric sourcing/testing; and the manufacturing of apparel. I’m proficient in Adobe Illustrator to create technical flats and textile prints, TUKATECH programs for patternmaking and 3D model making of garments.

My work experience has included five years in retail for companies such as Levi, Nike and Adidas. My responsibilities include preparing merchandise to replenish the sales floor, visual merchandising and display, customer service, and shipping/receiving merchandise. In addition while in London I interned for Judy Wu, a luxury womenswear designer brand. Judy Wu is a vertical business and I was exposed to many aspects of her evolving business including developing prototypes, manually grading patterns and managing inventory for both the retail store and production.
