Artist's Statement:
This six look collection was very much inspired by the age old beauty icon Cleopatra. My inspiration in Cleopatra lies in the powerful sexy vibe she gives off. I'm hopeful that, with the look I've created, other's can feel as powerful in my designs as I imagine Cleopatra would have felt. I used solid colors and geometric and (mostly) symmetric designs. The clothes are meant to be worn on a special occasion, but more so a club or party special occasion rather than, say, an elementary awards ceremony. The designs have modern trends worked into them, like the mid-drift revealing top and skirt outfit I put together. To describe my style in a nutshell, it's unique, confident, and daring, qualities I believe everyone should try to embody.
