I like to solve problems. Sacrificing comfort for style is an archaic notion. My designs are both beautiful and practical. They are for the average woman who wants to project their inner beauty to the world without wincing.

Custom Made Bridesmaid Dress

Custom Made Bridesmaid Dress X
I made a dressform out of duct tape to resemble the body I was making the dress for. The bodice was draped on and then I hand-sewed in the gathers to create a bleeding effect for the colors around the skirt. It was all made of different types of silk

More Information

I started out with classes at Mood Fabrics. From there I discovered that I was and have always been extremely passionate for clothing that fits the body well and makes you feel good. I took a few classes to learn the basics of sewing and then from there I'm mostly self-taught. My illustrations are raw and everything from my draping to my choice of fabric is intuitive. I am currently in the process of completing a certificate program at Parsons School of Design for Fashion Design Essentials. This certification has given me an overview of the industry and a quick peek at what types of careers fashion has to offer in addition to a better understanding of how the business of fashion intersects with the creator. I have been learning a lot and I continue to create custom-made goods for myself and anyone who will let me.

Design is my passion and I'm so excited to finally live out my daydreams.
