An artist that really influenced my designs is Kehinde Wiley. His designs and color schemes really help me decide on what I wanted to incorporate in my collection. He uses vibrant and bright colors, and always has one main point of focus. The things I changed mostly is that the main focus will not be people they will be dresses of my own. The setting or background I use will be one of his very own paintings. The reason why I chose to use one of his paintings, is because he is my main inspiration so why not use one of his paintings as my background.
