Although my experience and passion is clearly in apparel design, my experiences in the industry through the past ten years are as follows;
Visual presentation and merchandising-

Styling-
* Line sheet photo shoots
* Seasonal campaign photo shoots Displayed on web sites, in stores and store fronts
* Organized marketing events such as fashion shows
Buying-
* Sales analysis
* Fittings
* Vendor relations local and overseas
* Importing goods overseas
* Trend forecasting. Traveled to L.A and London England, in order to forecast the latest trends.
Design-
* Opened a clothing line. All components were completed on my own. This includes designing, drafting, grading, marketing (organizing events and attending trade shows, web development and photo shoots) and sewing.
* Started a mens leather bag line. This includes sourcing fabrics, leathers and notions. Vendor relations overseas. Design and technical packages.
* Began a freelance design company. Providing all that is required for a new designer to construct their clothing line.
* Designed for an all Canadian clothing company, this also included managing the on site factory.
