Her subjects are chosen as carefully as the colours she uses. Her fascination for strong colours is reflected in her work. Recently her imagery has been inspired by natural forms sourced from the environment, flowers feature strongly in her work. Drawing is always the main starting point for her designs as well as traditional techniques such as etching and hand pulled screen print, she enjoys experimenting with computer-aided design to manipulate her initial drawings. Her bold innovative designs are produced by placing different drawings and colour combinations together to produce fresh, contemporary, finished pieces, these can range from placement prints or all over repeats which are then printed onto wallpaper or Mimaki printed fabrics.
