Julia Bristow began creating jewelry in 2006 when she was introduced to vintage jewelry collecting by her sister, Kristy Lee. She learned jewelry assembly techniques by Kristy and after attending further schooling in jewelry design, beautiful vintage jewelry by designers such as Miriam Haskell inspired Julia to create items with her own touch using today's quality supplies. The jewelry designs are inspired by Julia's love of nature and every attempt is made to incorporate that beauty directly into each piece created. Having lived most of her life near the ocean and currently in the Sierra National Forest, she strives to imitate the absolute beauty of nature that she sees around her with ocean and forest themes. She also specializes in fruit jewelry pieces which have been featured in Cosmopolitan, Elle, Fashion, and Foam Magazines - tropical Carmen Miranda style!
