• Over 15 years experience in Fashion Design.
• Computer proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
• Prepare flat sketches/cads for sales line sheets and technical packages.
• Shop market and identify trends for seasonal direction.
• Provide seasonal theme and color pallet through mood boards.
• Develop/review technical documents and supply complete packages to overseas vendors.
• Attend and participate in technical fittings to ensure design intent is reflected in all samples.
• Follow up daily with overseas vendors via email.
• Travel overseas, visiting agents, factories, laundries, and screen print facilities.
• Approve lab dips, strike-offs, wash trials, proto samples, and shade bands.
• Manage a team of 3-10 including assistant, associate, graphic and technical designers.
• Direct creative process and prioritize associate workloads to maintain departmental calendar.
• Partner with sales, buying, and production teams to develop seasonal line plans.
