I have 8 1/2 years experience in garment development from concept design to merchandising a line. I am current responsible for implementing new design and material concepts, color, interpreting trends and following projects through the entire creation and revision process to production overseas in China. I have a strong eye for trends, and vast experience designing and merchandising multiple categories both woven and knit for prominent brands and major retailers. My designs can be found in Macy's, Bealls, Belks, Bon-ton, Burlington, Stage, Wal-mart and many more. My experience is in domestic and international manufacturing, working with suppliers and vendors on all aspects of sourcing and garment production and have extensive knowledge of fabric construction, characteristics, wash techniques, printing and dyeing process. I am a strong team manager and mentor to young talent. I believe that my experience, passion, and drive would make me a great asset to any company.
