- Shop and research on current trend to develop seasonal line.
- Work directly with sample maker, pattern maker, and oversea factory on everything from sourcing to production samples.
- Research and test new ways on better improve and organize design library and sample room.
- Create spec sheets, grading, and technical package for all new developments and on order styles.

- Head designer of two commercial accounts and in charge of all design related issues including presenting seasonal trends to creating color components page for production.
- Work directly with customer on developing new trend concepts that is tailor to their needs including bodies that will work for both missy and plus sizing.
- Shopping and researching customer target market and their competitor markets monthly for new design inspiration and current best & worst selling items.
- Attend customer meetings in NYC as well as travel to Hong Kong and China for sourcing and product developments.

- Flat sketching, creating new development designs, sourcing fabrics and trims, preparing for meetings, and follow up work.
- Consulting with Technical Team on Counter sample requirements to meet target yardage, costing and construction methods.
