My inspiration behind developing a Ready-To-Wear line was from nature and wanting the consumer to feel beautiful and glamorous. I personally believe this is an area in the industry that is attractive to a wide variety of consumers.
My inspiration for creating an athletic wear line was to develop a line that catered to the middle class. Along with creating an athletic wear line that can be worn inside and outside of the gym, allowing the consumers to feel cute, yet comfy.
This evening wear design came from the designer Monique Lhuillier where I took her original design which is digitally drawn in the center and created two new looks that would go along with that garment to create a cohesive collection.
The inspiration behind this cocktail dress was derived from nature. The multi color leaves going down the center front are made from 100% organza. Is fully lined with 100% silk, the yellow and blue fabrication in the dress is made from 100% cotton.
The inspiration for this evening gown is to embody a thunder storm throughout the entire dress with the fringes representing rain. The fabrication is from 100% polyester, imitating silk. The bodice area is fully lined with 100% polyester fabric.
This knit dress was designed as a fully color blocked dress. The bodice of the dress is a print that I personally created and is made from a 4-way stretch knit. The black and white fabric is 100% cotton jersey. The yellow fabric is a ponte knit.
