EXPERIENCE
Victoria’s Secret, VERY SEXY 1/07 - Current
Assistant Designer
Conducts fashion trend research using magazines and runway images to develop fresh, new, elevated ideas for the Very Sexy Brand. Shops the retail market seeking new merchandise/trend ideas. Creates seasonal concept boards. Designs new and innovative bra ideas that are trend and brand right, and reflect a young, sexy, and playful aesthetic for the Very Sexy and Miraculous bra programs. Develops panties focused on fit and innovative but saleable design. Creates key item sleepwear pieces that are unique, brand right, and saleable. Develops seasonal embellishments. Sources trims and fabrics, and manages fabric and trim libraries. Completes all protoforms/ tech packs for the sample room and vendors. Works closely with pattern makers and sample room to ensure proper execution of proto garments. Attends all garment fittings. Follows through with all stages of sample development from concept to production.
