Fashion Design
Alexis is a graduate from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising for Merchandise Product Development. She is a member of FIDMs Premier Product Development Group, and recently had the opportunity to visit Cotton Inc., Cone Denim, DyStar and VF Corporation with select students.
Before FIDM she attended Salt Lake Community College for Fashion Design, and with that has gained a large amount of knowledge in garment construction.
She started creating clothing in high school, and participated in two district fashion shows in Utah, and even won Best Overall for her collection in her junior year.
Alexis is looking to branch out in the fashion industry and has started with her most recent internship with a lingerie design house doing technical design work. She excels with Illustrator and Photoshop, has a wide range of abilities, superior color discrimination based on the Farnsworth-Munsell 100 hue test, and a keen eye for trend.
