Dubbed simply the “crepe sole boots,” this footwear originally made its debut at the Yeezy Season 2 showroom in Paris. The style is an ultra-high boot that draws inspiration from military boots (much like the Adidas 1050 boots that released alongside Yeezy Season 1), and is a perfect example of West’s dusty-hued, oversize aesthetic. But two things set these apart from the 1050s: 1) Those crepe soles, like the ones on Kanye’s favorite Chelsea boots, and 2) They are not made by Adidas.”
