I seek to combine and utilize my eight years of both leather working and accessories design experience, creating lines for a variety of clients and designers, while continually motivating to finish jobs efficiently, timely, and in an organized manner.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:
Ability to research domestic markets in order to identify new trends, techniques, and colors.
Skilled in use of industrial walking foot, single and double needle, overlock, swing arm, and coverstitch machines for all fabrics, particularly wovens, leather, and vinyl, in both accessories design and upholstery.
Proven track record of creating and developing brand line(s) from conception to production.
Experience in trim design and color choice based on trend research.
Proficient in creating spec sheets/technical packages for production.
Command of consistently creating designers vision.
Ability to be in constant communication with vendors, factories, clients, and customers in an efficient, productive, and organized manner.
Proficient in silhouettes/flat sketching.
Experience in merchandising/presentation boards.
Ability to effectively write copy.
Skilled at re-design.
Able to spec garments, strike-offs, lab-dips, commenting, and revision.
