PROFILE
A Dynamic Fashion Designer with experience in the full life cycle
of fashion from
design, through construction, marketing, sales, and staffing. I
have had my own line of
evening wear, marketed and sold on-line, for over two years on a
site that I designed
myself. I am also a partner in an interior design firm, where I
design the fabric
components of all client deliverables curtains, pillows,
drapes, covers, etc. Also, in the
past, I have held fashion design and construction positions at
Joseph Abboud, Newbury
Street Tailoring, Brahmin, and Bush. In addition, I have retail
experience at Armani
Exchange, Ann Taylor, and Banana Republic.
My experiences has left me with a great sense of style,
patternmaking skills, knowledge
of sewing techniques, graphics, trim, market research, mood
board, creativity,
designing, fabric development, illustration, specing sheet and
fit. My computer skills
includes CAD programs, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access,
PowerPoint,
Internet, and Typing (47wpm). I work effectively under deadline
pressure or in unusual
or new work situations. I also have great time management skills,
communication skills,
strong organization skills and the CRITICAL ability to multitask.
I am a team player -
