Rock The Red Carpet

Rock The Red Carpet X
Inspired by the 1920s, I selected an intricate lace fabric for the self and tulle to create opacity as well as chains and rhinestones to tie in all components. By selecting different shades of nude and gold I obtained a monochromatic aesthetic.

More Information

While growing up, Alexis J. Pardini pondered upon whether or not to become someone that would work with the insides of human bodies; such as being a plastic surgeon or even a pathologist. That was until she had a change of heart which resulted in her making the decision to go for the life of a fashion designer. Alexis J. Pardini is a self motivating individual that strives for success; her positive views make it easy for her to accommodate to different situations.

Through her educational preparation at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) she developed her computer aided design skills (CAD) helping her bring concepts into existence. Alexis is a passionate artist that can handle multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining excellence in the quality of her work. While attending FIDM, Alexis interned for Tammy Mars where she learned how to design for multiple target customers, handle inventory, and work with and around deadlines. She also volunteered her time at multiple fashion shows, where she discovered what happens backstage, such as dealing with the team of directors and the steps involved in the show, at an accelerated pace.
