More Information

Born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, I have been influenced by nature for as long as I remember. I have always, as an influence of my mother, been interested in art. I believe art speaks for the soul and we can achieve that in many different forms of creation. I started learning in English at the age of nine but I really got to learn by experiencing it, first on Summer 2007 in Vancouver where I spent a month living with a Philippine host family and then as an Exchange Student in Rochester, upstate New York for seven months in 2009, with a host family that was a mix of Puerto Rican and Cuban. Those experiences opened my eyes to the world and from that time on I never stopped exploring and adventuring myself in this beautiful world full of amazing interesting people.

At the age of 16 I decided to pursue a career in Fashion, after a while researching and experimenting different things I finally realized that I love Pattering, the constructive part the fashion design is what motivated me to get a Bachelor Degree in Fashion Design and specialize in Pattermaking at Senac University Center (the only university in Brazil that offers this specialization). I finished it in 2013 with a incredible thesis on costume from 1901-9012, called The differences between the social classes on a steamship in the beginning of the 20th century. After this project I decided I wanted to pursue a career in Costume Design because it is fantastic how we can travel on time and in between cultures and re-make epic clothes that were worn centuries ago or imagine how we will dress up years from now.
