• Designed seasonal layette and playwear collections for CWW, Bonjour
Radio Flyer, Humphrey’s Corner, and private label in newborn and
infant girls and boys.
• Interfaced with Division owner to determine color schemes, prints, and
fabrications applied to each season.
• Shopped domestic markets to research trends, fashion forward body
styles, fabrics, innovative print techniques, and new graphic art
applications.
• Provided direction for assistant designer, graphic artists, and freelance
designers.
• Worked with production and spec departments to ensure quality of lab
dip approvals, strike-offs, pre-production and productions samples.
• Prepared line presentations for buyers and licensors in order to meet
their specific needs and price points.

Baby Inc., and private label in newborn, infant, toddler, and 4-6X

• Assisted with designing collections for newborn, infant, toddler, and
4-6X girls and boys for Department Store business. Stores included:
Macy’s, Lord and Taylor, J.C. Penney, and Dillards.
• Illustrated designs, flat sketched, and created presentation boards.
• Communicated with overseas production facilities about design
embroideries, color, and fabrics.
• Shopped the market and attended fabric shows for analysis of trends
in silhouette, color, and fabrics.
• Oversaw sample room of 2 assistant patternmakers and 5 sample hands.
• Created presentation and mood boards.
