More Information

Since obtaining a BFA in Fashion in 2008, I've expanded my fashion practice to include internships and design work for other London brands and for my own line. I strongly believe that education improves our creative and critical capacities so I have earned a master's degree and a Ph.D. in history, degrees that have helped me strengthen my research, design, and project management skills.

At Central Saint Martins, I worked with designers like Louise Goldin (winner of the British Fashion Council's Fashion Forward Prize 2010) and Michael Van Der Ham (winner of the British Fashion Council's Fashion Forward Prize 2013), and worked as Design Assistant for London brand Izmaylova. With my combination of technical skills, design approaches, and expert research background, I am a great asset to fashion brands that combine innovation with tradition, enhancing women's experience.

I am also dedicated to educating and mentoring young people: I was a fashion illustration adjunct faculty at the School of Visual Arts of Puerto Rico for over two years. Many former students have moved to New York and London and have had successful careers in fashion and beyond!

Fun fact: I won the Hand & Lock Embroidery Prize Student Commendation in 2009 for the embroidered blue dress in my portfolio!
