As a 15 year veteran of the fashion industry, I have the experience required for this role. Starting off solidly in design for Vanity Fair, Victoria Secret, Baby Phat, Tommy Hilfiger, Nordstrom Private Brands and Skin, I then transitioned into Merchandising/Buying at Nordstrom, and Concept/Creative Direction at Portico Brands. To augment my experience I have consulted for many other brands, from startups, to established brands that want to expand their collection, and private equity/ venture capital funds looking to enter into the fashion/lifestyle space.

While I was Design Director of Women's Specialized at Nordstrom, my focus was on understanding the DNA of a brand and its consumer, translating into how to increase engagement with the consumer with the brand through the seasonal collections. Yet also understanding the current market and evolving the aesthetic of the brand to reflect current trends without changing its DNA.

I have a strong eye for the contemporary and luxury markets, with a solid understanding of fabrications, textiles, construction and finishing, not only on a garment level but also how the aforementioned plays into the entire collection. I believe in creativity, details and organization.
