I find that people tend to have these grandiose reasons as to why/how they got into fashion, but for me… I just love clothes. That being said, I have always had a hard time finding clothing that reflects my personal style.

More Information

When I design, I always try to make my pieces have their own voice; they can complement each other or stand on their own. I don't see the point of making things that already exist. As I type this in the spring of 2022, while finishing up my senior collection, I reflect. I call back to my first of five years at Woodbury when I didn’t know what seam allowance was and how my style has changed. Currently, I present a collection inspired by preppy styles and alternative street fashions with a custom fabric treatment. Another 5 years from I may do the complete opposite. In the meantime, I just want to continue making clothes.
