George Adesegun

George Adesegun was born in London but his upbringing was with his grandparents in Lagos, Nigeria. “I grew up in Africa, mindful that clothes are to be appreciated and valued. We did not have the luxury of new clothes so my imagination was captured by the garments I saw in catalogues and magazines belonging to a neighbour” He said.
It was George’s fashion illustrations and designs with their mix of African and Western influences, that won him a scholarship in the early 80’s to The Gloucestershire College of Art and Technology and later the acclaimed Epsom College of Art and design, George also studied shoe design at the prestigious Cordwainers College in the 1990’s.
He was awarded The Prince Youth Business trust start up award and grant in 1991 to start up his own label.
Very Technically able and hardworking designer with experience in Ready to Wear and Couture/Bridal Wear Designing.

Highly experience in Design research and developments.

Good Educational Qualifications in Fashion Design and Later Footwear Design.
I have a very Strong and Large Portfolio which covers Ready to wear: Dresses, Denim Jeans/ Casual wears, Footwear S/S 2015.
And Couture/ Bridal wear.

Having work for myself, on my own label for many years. That was in the past, i now want to fully enjoy Creating/Designing and nothing else without the distraction of also running the Business all on my own.
I am Currently seeking a company, who can utilize my Technical skills and experience in Fashion/Footwear and in any creative Design areas.
I am a good Team worker and a Leader at the same time.
