Boston native Tia Martin is the face behind the brand Fashionphototge. She has been sketching since she was a little girl and it was no coincident that she decided to study fashion design at one of New York City’s leading fashion schools Parson’s New School for Design. Her true passion for fashion came about as she started when she use to give advice to her older sisters about what to wear.She comes from a family full of creative individuals a event planner and jewelry maker. She got her insight on the industry in her teenage years while working numerous fashion shows and helping out with one of Boston’s major event’s The Mayor’s Youth Summit. By Interning at one of New York’s leading Japanese trimming companies Shindo. She got a glimpse of what it took to be a visual merchandiser as well as picking out color schemes for major fashion labels and it wasn’t long before her creative eye for designing was able to be brought in perspective. Tia can be inspired from everything around her allowing her to create her signature look. She once walked by a construction site on a fall day and had a full collection of futuristic looks,inspired by the steal and natural materials. After graduation she plans on working on her line and helping other young women and men who have a love for fashion. She is still fresh and new but is finding her way into the industry!
