● Trend research- frequent visits to consultants, firms, and services
● Maintain brand integrity with clear message and editing assortments
● Shop market for comparison, trends, and samples
● Presentation boards, palettes, and packets for silhouette/print direction for design team, domestic vendors, and for buyers to take to market
● Build relationships with vendors and provide them with clear brand message and themes for design development
● Travel to market (NY & LA) every sixty days to confirm clear brand message and edit assortments
● Communicate with buyers daily for efficient development and brand management
● Provide buyers with merchandising layouts, fixture fills, and cohesive statements
● Complete technical flats used for presentation and production via Illustrator & Photoshop.
● Provide color palette, print direction, and purchased artwork for textile artists: in-house and freelance
● Created, uploaded, and maintained styles and prints in Webpdm
● Cost merchandise, fabric, print, & lab dip approvals w/ Import & Domestic Vendors.
● Attend fit sessions
● Sales analysis on private and national brands- look for opportunities and selling trends
