2006-Present Freelance Designer/Technical Designer/ Production Manager
*Consultant for emerging designers and companies with emphasis on design, construction, sample making and production domestically and abroad.

2005-2006 Design Director, Rushkin LTD.
*Set and directed entire look and concept of Rushkin.
*Fully responsible for the entire design process that included conception, market research, design, and fit.
*Identified key trends, seasonal color theme, fabrics, high-end construction techniques and facilities to execute first sample garments domestically.
*Directed the conceptual development of all styles.
*Trained and developed assistants and freelance designers.
*Worked directly with pattern makers, fabric suppliers and first sample makers.

2005-2005 Head Designer, Duplex by Tyte Jeans.
*Designed line of denim for new division of Tyte Jeans.
*Set colors, sent out and approved lab dips and bit looms. *Researched trends, fabrics, denim washes, and trims.
*Traveled to design and sample room in L.A. office to coordinate the sampling of seasonal lines.
*Traveled to Asia to meet with sampling and production facilities while also executing new sample programs and managing existing sample programs in work.
*Made all tech packs (using Adobe Illustrator) and communicated daily with sampling facilities in Los Angeles and China to ensure best quality of samples and timely delivery for market week and private label sales meeting.

*Cultivated small client base for mens high-end suits,
seperates, and leather outerwear.

1997-2003 Senior Designer, Bill Blass Jeans (The Resource Club).
*Set direction of styles, fabrics, trims, colors for Misses,
denim driven, casual sportswear line as it applied to basic and fashion bottoms with the Design Director and owner.
*Researched washes, utilized forecast services, and shopped domestically and internationally for styling inspiration.
*Created tech packs, flat and technical drawings, embroidery and print art work using Adobe Illustrator and by hand.
*Daily communication by e-mail and phone to ensure timely and accurate delivery of garment samples, sample yardages, lab dips and approvals, bit looms and their approvals.
*Managed design assistants (freelance and full timers).
*Traveled extensively to factories abroad to oversee sampling and set new sampling programs for seasonal market weeks, which included India, Dubai, Bangladesh, Peru, and Sri Lanka.
*Designed woven sportswear, denim and cut and sew knits for Generra Juniors license and other private label accounts such as Sonoma for Kohl’s, Sam’s Club and Faded Glory for Walmart.
