The most rewarding thing about fashion design for me is making my ideas into actual garments. I also like working with people to make custom pieces for them.

I have been designing and sewing clothes for others since I was in high school and have a Fashion Design Degree from FIDM in California. During my education, I perfected my skills in sewing, draping, pattern drafting, and flat and figure sketching, thus streamlining my abilities in the fashion design process from start to finish. Working for a tailor doing alterations and making custom clothing taught me another side to clothing design and construction. Recently, I was working for a small business owner of a children’s clothing store. I made products that are sold at the store as well as the custom clothing that is ordered.
